We're a small (but growing!) company in the Geelong area.

Everyday we focus on making great espresso coffee for our regular customers. We really like the idea of helping people have a better day by making the best coffee that we can and giving the best service that we can.

Since we opened in 2006 we've added about one store a year......we now have five stores around Geelong (locations).

Ever since Bean Squeeze started we've always focussed very heavily on doing whatever we can to look after our team. We do a huge amount of training, have regular staff parties and in store competitions and generally try and make Bean Squeeze a great place to work. We just figure if the team of people in the shop are happy, then our customers will be happy too. It seems to be working so far.

We're always getting asked "when are you going to franchise?" Well, we're not.

The thing is, we often hear from new staff members about what it was like working at other "reputable" franchise chains and have heard far too many stories where they were not treated properly.

One of our main goals at Bean Squeeze is to create a business that is a great place to work for our whole team. Franchising a business means that each store has a different owner who employs and manages their own staff.

With that comes the possibility of choosing the wrong franchisee who doesn't treat their staff well.......so we're not going to do it.

We like the idea of growing slowly, one store at a time, and keeping more of a family feel amongst our team.
